Service Contracts
We offer two levels of contracted
service agreements any of which you may choose to ensure
the efficiency, longevity and performance of your equipment.
- Assured Service
- Preventative Maintenance
The scope of these agreements is summarised

If none of the above meet your requirements please

All agreements include one pre-scheduled
on-site annual preventative service visit by an engineer,
inclusive of all travel and labour costs. This visit
includes:
- Cleaning and lubrication of relevant
parts of the equipment
- Visual inspection of moving parts
and materials
- Testing of components
- Electrical Safety Testing (PAT)
- A written service report
Total Service Agreements offer unlimited
free breakdown call-outs.
Assured Service Agreements
offer two free breakdown call-outs.
Call-outs under Preventative Maintenance Agreements
or additional call-outs under Assured Service Agreements
offer two free breakdown call-outs. These call-outs
are inclusive of travel and labour costs. Any additional
call-outs for the Assured Service and the Preventative
Maintenance Agreements will be charged at preferential
discounted rates.
Spare parts and consumables are charged
in addition to contract but at the discounted rates
shown in the table above.
The options below may be purchased
separately, or added to the any of the Agreements above:
Installation and comissioning will be carried out once
delivery has been confirmed and at a pre-arranged date
with the service engineer.
Equipment will be calibrated once a year, and may be
performed either at the start of the Agreement or at
a mutually convenient time during the year.
Our professional repairs are guaranteed
for three months. We have a permanent aim of responding
to all calls within 24 hours and to despatch repairs
within 24 hours of completion. Quotations for service
contracts and repairs will be sent within 48 hours of
request (times quoted are based on Tectron’s normal
working days).
A Service Contract may be purchased
at the point of sale of a new item and will commence
on the date of delivery or date of installation of the
equipment, unless prior arrangements have been made
with Tectron. Please ask for a written quotation.
Service Contracts for equipment more than 2 months old
from date of purchase will also be considered, but must
first pass an inspection. Inspection is provided free
of charge, though any work required to bring the instrument
up to manufacturer’s specifications will be charged
at normal non-contract rates.
